Top 5 Things I Just Can’t Accept

1- That my friends are actually starting to have children ON PURPOSE. When did this start happening?!?!

2- That in Manhattan it costs $23.00 for a mani/pedi and $8.00 for a box of cereal. Clearly, there is something wrong with this picture.

3- That white shoes are “in”—nope, nope, nope. I shall not agree to this nonsense.

4- That Gwyneth Paltrow is the “World’s Most Beautiful Woman”…sorry I’m not sorry, G-Pal.

5- That all the good ones are taken. Surely there is a male version of myself out there…minus the clumsiness and inability to follow directions. ***must also carry luggage.

Top 5 Things That Are NOT Best in Moderation

1- Pomegranates. Pom season doesn’t last very long…so indulge, indulge, indulge. Just make sure you’re not wearing white/around anyone towards whom you have romantic inclinations…that sh&% is not pretty [but tastes so good!].

2- Travel. The more you go, the more you know! As the over-pinned quote states, “Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.”

3- Reading. Not only is it an extremely rewarding and interesting activity, it also teaches you how to SPELL!

4- Laughter. Do whatever it takes to get this in EVERY DAY. For me, it’s ridiculous memes online…but for you it might be The Daily Show or Kardashian Kouture.

5- Walking. Did you know that Manhattan is only 13.4 miles long and 2.3 miles wide? That taxi to Sunday Brunch *might* not be necessary.

Top 5 Things That Are Best In Moderation

1- E! News. It’s always good to be plugged into pop culture…but when you can recite the dating history of the entire Pretty Little Liars cast, you might have a problem.

2- Working out. The more intense a person gets about fitness, the less fun they are to be around. No one wants a friend who spends their life in spandex and cut-off tanks.

3- Drinking. Trust me, your sloppy rendition of Nelly’s “Ride Wit Me” isn’t quite as cute as you think [even though it’s a GREAT song].

4- Tweeting. Never clog up someone’s feed, it’s annoying and unbecoming.

5- Krispy Kreme. Never buy more than two at a time…and GOD FORBID do not buy a dozen if you live alone. Even Gandhi couldn’t exercise that kind of self-control.
