Top 5 Trips I Need To Take

1- Barcelona- I’ve been to Spain several times, but never to the ONE city everyone says is the best in the country. WTF, Self.

2- Alaska- The mountains, the bears, the lakes…AND the opportunity to see Russia?! What’s to lose?!

3- Istanbul- The home of the Byzantine Empire, the Ottoman Empire, and some damn good coffee. Bring it.

4- Luckenbach, Texas- Gotta pay homage to the greats…and the best opening song lyrics OF ALL TIME. Rest in peace, Waylon.

5- Antarctica- While it might take a while to get there, I am determined to visit all seven continents before I leave this little world. Antarctica will no doubt be the capstone.

Top 5 Things I Know To Be True

1- Traveling to another country will change your life. Whether you learn how to speak a second language, visit ancient ruins, or discover a banging recipe for sangria…you will come home a better person. Now go forth and prosper!

2- You will never regret looking nice. Ne-v-er. So shine those shoes, go to the cleaners, and put your best foot forward—You’re decorating the world, after all!

3- You’re only as good as your last conversation. Treat people with respect and appreciate every exchange…one day, these words may be be your last!

4- Friendships require upkeep, so invest in those you want to keep around…and don’t forget the bubbly.

5- Love is weird…and rarely unconditional. So appreciate what you’ve got and work hard to keep it, ya hear?

Top 5 Things That Are NOT Best in Moderation

1- Pomegranates. Pom season doesn’t last very long…so indulge, indulge, indulge. Just make sure you’re not wearing white/around anyone towards whom you have romantic inclinations…that sh&% is not pretty [but tastes so good!].

2- Travel. The more you go, the more you know! As the over-pinned quote states, “Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.”

3- Reading. Not only is it an extremely rewarding and interesting activity, it also teaches you how to SPELL!

4- Laughter. Do whatever it takes to get this in EVERY DAY. For me, it’s ridiculous memes online…but for you it might be The Daily Show or Kardashian Kouture.

5- Walking. Did you know that Manhattan is only 13.4 miles long and 2.3 miles wide? That taxi to Sunday Brunch *might* not be necessary.

Top 5 Movies I Never Want To See Again

1- Stephen King’s IT…you know the one about the demented and murderous clown? As in the one my cousins snuck me into the living room to watch when I was five years old? As in the one that terrified me for years but I couldn’t tell anyone because I didn’t want to get in trouble? True story.

2- The Green Mile…My heart is not physically capable of handling that shit more than once. I have never sobbed so embarrassingly loud during any movie. RIP Michael Clarke Duncan and Mr. Jingles.

3- Four Christmases…Did any of you people see that one? Yea, I didn’t think so.

4- Any Batman movie with Christian Bale. Dude has weaselly eyes and creeps me out…yes Captain Obvious, I realize I’m in the minority here.

5- Twilight 1,2,3,4, etc etc…Along with many things in my life, I only plan on doing those once for the story and life experience.
